Yoga and meditation are high forms of alchemy that serve to transmute, and bring more levity. We turn what hurts into what heals by moving, relating and shifting how we see.
And by bringing us together, both virtually and actually, by showing us we’re never alone, our practice is a reminder for us all to hold. I need it every day, and I feel it when I miss it. I’ve seen that when I practice I don’t dismiss myself like I would otherwise. When I practice, I manage to stay soft and hold my light.
May we always remember the surest, simplest alchemy of just one pose – the chemistry that opens, the circulation that flows, when the heart gets ignited and the intellect knows – we’re all connected. It’s true every time we come to our mat or take the teacher’s seat. We’re always together – healing, and seeing. Trusting and clearing. Unraveling and revealing.
“Science has shown us that we are made up of more space than actual matter, and so too are our histories made up of more fiction or narrative than actual fact… Your own constructed biography can be renegotiated at any time. This will enable you to show up more fully in each moment.” Thank you Lisa Wimberger, for teaching us we can sculpt our neurology and re-form our being.
