Trusting Your Sacred Self

by Micara Link / connect

Learning to trust and surrender to your intuition can be a rocky road filled with ups and downs; hopes and fears; inspiration and doubt. I’ve been there. Coming home to my inner voice rocked my world. It tested me in ways that I wasn’t expecting. It lead me to the healing that my soul knew I needed and it reconnected me with a part of myself that I had missing for a very long time. This transformational journey brought me back to source, truth and light. I love my intuition and its divine guidance, which is why I’ve spent the last handful of years sharing this passion with others.

One of the biggest blocks that comes up over and over is trust.
“How do I know if my intuition is right? How do I know it’s ok to trust it? What if I’m wrong?” people ask.

My answer? Your intuition is always correct and it is always safe to trust it. The culprit of our distrust is often the ego. It’s grasping for control, keeping you stuck, and holding you back from living your light.

How do you learn to trust? There’s no shortcut, no way to teach you to trust –you just have to do it. You have to make the decision and commit to living from within. Each time you do this, your inner voice will become stronger and clearer, and your ego will grow smaller and quieter.
Your intuition is communication and guidance from your most sacred self: your soul. Your soul is connected to God- our life-sustaining, supportive, and loving Creator. When you start to doubt your intuition remember that God wouldn’t steer you places you aren’t meant to go. You are safe, you are loved, and you are supported.
