Please let me be unbound
But create for me a haven
Where I am always welcome
After roaming the plains of my own wilderness.
Show me that you are not afraid
of the Depth of my Love.
That you embrace my adoration for you
Not as a sign that you have to live up to
An imaginary standard of Divinity,
For my adoration does not come from
Trying to fix you.
It comes from seeing your light.
Please show me that you understand
How strong I can be in the world
And how soft I need to be in your arms.
Make space in your heart for my playfulness,
Never deny me the right to be just human
And at the same time – a vessel for the Goddess.
Please understand that I am wired differently,
That I need to feel intensely
That I need to experience everything in its extreme.
For in the darkness of my own Void
The Creatrix is birthing new galaxies.
Please accept my words of praise
But never take them for granted.
Bathe in the knowing that I will follow you
To the end of the world and beyond
As long as you don’t try to put a leash on me.
Show me that you know how to stand your ground
And be open to the new.
Release from the social contract of the Nice Girl.
Invoke my wisdom, my sovereignty, my power
As your allies
And listen closely to the silences
For there are parts of me so hidden only you can hear.
Accept that you will never be able to make sense of the Mystery I embody
And I promise to accept your rationality as my guide,
Promise never to parent me, never to act as a saviour
But to be my equal
Who in times of need reminds me of my own endless resources.
Never feign interest in my hobbies, my work, my art
But give me the space to talk about what bothers me.
Cherish every moment we have together
For your gratitude is more valuable than all the flowers in the world.
Talk to me about the stars, the wind, the sand.
Talk to me about your soul, your fears, your dreams and secrets
And be sure that every word we share I will keep as a treasured gift.
Take off my masks with love and kindness
And let me see you in all your glory.
Every now and then kiss me
As if your life depends on the softness of my lips.
Every now and then bite my neck and hold me tight.
And always, always, always
