This week, the lulling end of summer asks us to slow down, yet somehow also speed up to prep for the back-to-school moment. August seemed like the new September over here, purposeful and more focused than usual.
An antidote :: You’re invited to turn your attention towards tenderness. Defined as gentleness, kindness, even sensitivity to pain; may we take this quiet moment together to feel what tenderness could look like, today.
May I be more gentle, more kind, most importantly to myself. May I be more sensitive to what hurts, and ask for help with what heals. May all of this be my becoming a teacher of tenderness.
