We often mistake being happy with being perfect – which isn’t true, nor possible.
PERFECTION is finding the beauty in the imperfections.
Inspired by a photo on Pinterest: a beautiful white vase shattered to pieces and subsequently glued back together with gold.
Imagine that vase now… “broken” and “flawed,” shining and glistening like it hadn’t before.
Perfection is embracing flaws, being accountable and loving the lessons. The beauty is in how we move forward and put our pieces back together. You choose how you shape & mold YOU. You choose to stay in old habits or start fresh and new.
What helps me? Compassion, humility. Letting go of all worry. Awareness of this present moment is where the bliss lies.
