So often, the doorway to the heart is kept firmly shut. When it becomes stuffy in there, your posture and body language show it; rounded shoulders and a kyphosis in the upper back develops as you try to protect your chest area from vulnerability. Years of repressed raw emotional data and wounded childhood memories, even generations prior to you, can remain contained in that space. This often leads to disease and significant coronary issues.
The questions held within your fourth chakra will be presented to you again and again during your life until the answer breaks your heart – not in half, but wide open. Remember, the purpose of your heart is to love. So loving yourself in the form of self compassion is key to finding fulfillment within, and keeping the door to your heart open to new experiences, new thresholds, new perspectives.
If you’re avoiding these questions of self-exploration because you know the answers will require you to make major changes in your life, remember that no other option exists – and that’s the good news. When pain arises, it is a request from your soul for transformation. Your love is wise and wants to be revealed. Place your hand over your heart, close your eyes, and just listen. Your wise woman is waiting.
