Lisa is an E-RYT 500 Vinyasa Flow yoga instructor living in the Beach area of Toronto, Ontario. She has been practicing various forms of yoga such as Vinyasa, Anusara, Prana Flow, Ashtanga, Hatha, and Kundalini since 2000, and began teaching Vinyasa, Hatha and Prenatal in early 2009. Her winding path has included some time as a PhD candidate in Social Anthropology, 6 years of teaching high school in Northern Ontario, and a fateful trip to the Costa Rican rainforest where she completed her first Vinyasa training with the wonderful Frog Lotus Yoga International program. As a result of practicing so many styles of yoga over the years and finding inspirational moments within each of them, the yoga she shares is a creative synthesis of powerful, playful and prayerful. She has been fortunate to study and practice with luminaries such as Shiva Rea, Elena Brower, Desiree Rumbaugh, Eoin Finn, Annie Carpenter and Sianna Sherman. Lisa is a dedicated blogger and writer, and is profoundly grateful to be a mamma to one of the sweetest souls.
