As a yoga and meditation teacher, I am dedicated to supporting my students on their journey towards inner peace as well as mental and physical balance.
There are many tools and techniques available, and it’s important to find the one that truly resonates with us. My mission is to help yogis prepare their bodies for meditation, by helping them unlock energetic blockages and return to the state of natural health and well-being with yoga. Then I offer meditation modalities with which they might find resonance.
This was my focus when I started writing music first for my own meditation practice, and then to share with others. My work is also what inspired me when I created a free meditation channel that offers guided meditations from various traditions, to offer an opportunity to experience everything from simple short 5-minute mindfulness sessions, to chakra balancing practices, and yoga nidra.
Yoga nidra is indeed one of the offerings about which I am most passionate. Since I discovered it in 2008 when recovering from the most challenging year of my life, I’ve been sharing this incredible technique. It makes my heart smile to see how transformative it is; it takes you into a completely different mental state, recharging and restoring your mind and body. It relaxes the brain, promoting healing and nourishing creativity.
This state you experience in yoga nidra is characterized by profound restorative and rejuvenating properties, within which your brain is receptive yet completely relaxed. In this state, the body can efficiently deal with psychosomatic and stress-related disorders that arise from the tensions in the mind, leaving you feeling peaceful and at ease. Give yoga nidra a try and watch the benefits of this technique unfold and support your practice – it is certainly one of the sweetest gifts of relaxation you can offer to your body, mind and spirit.
